Cultural remains discovered alongside the skeletal fragments include geometric microliths dating to 28,500 BP, which together with some sites in Africa is the earliest record of such stone tools and ancient citys name Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa and Digamadulla. Remnants of these once glorious cities, their palaces, temples, monasteries, hospitals and theaters intricately carved and modeled out of stone lay abandoned amidst the soaring mountains.who returned home with enchanting images of a languorous tropical isle of such deep spirituality and serenity

Day 1-2

  Day 1 – 2                Sigiriya (World Heritage Site) 

Originally called Sihagiri and later dubbed Sigiriya (Lion Rock) It is probably the most visited tourist destination of Sri Lanka. Since 3th century BC the rocky plateau of Sigiriya served as a monastery. In the second half of the 5th century king Kasyapa decided to construct a royal residence of him self. The Lion rock is a citadel unusual beauty, rising 200 meters from the scrub jungle . The fortress complex includes remnants of a ruined palace, surrounded by an extensive network of fortifications, vast gardens, ponds, canals, alleys and fountains. The western wall of Sigiriya was almost entirely covered by frescoes, Eighteen frescoes have survived to this day.

Day 3-5

Day 3-4                        Kandy

Kandy, the last royal capital of Sri Lanka is a major tourist destination. Famous for the Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most sacred places of worship in the Buddhist world  and many other temples the city could be called the cultural capital of the island. The city established in the 14th century was the last royal capital where 2500 years of royal rule ended. This bustling market town is rich in cultural diversity & has plenty of itineraries to offer the tourists from songs, cultural dances and arts & crafts to ancient temples and adventure activities. Kandy is a good transit point to the cultural triangle to the north or hill country to the south. The city is also a good source of souvenirs or to experience many cultural performances at its various hotels in the city. Kandy was declared a world heritage site in 1988.

Day 5-6                     Ella

Ella everyone’s favourite hill-country village, and the place to ease off the travel accelerator with a few leisurely days resting in your choice.Don’t be too laid-back though; definitely make time for easy-going walks through tea plantations to temples, waterfalls and viewpoints. After building up a hiking-inspired appetite,on a clear night you can even spy the subtle glow of the Great Basses lighthouse on Sri Lanka’s south coast.

Day -7                        Udawalawe

Udawalawe National Park lies on the boundary of Sabaragamuwa and Uva Provinces, in Sri Lanka. The national park was created to provide a sanctuary for wild animals displaced by the construction of the Udawalawe Reservoir on the Walawe River, as well as to protect the catchment of the reservoir. The reserve covers 30,821 hectares of land area and was established on 30 June 1972.  Home for 500-600 Elephants, endemic Birds & Eagles  ,wild Cats and Sam-bar dears ,

Day 8-10

Day -8-10                    Unawatuna Beach + Galle

Described as most wonderful beach location by the nature, Unawatuna is one of the best Scuba Diving Locations in Sri Lanka. It is famous beach, Scuba Diving, Surfing and Sea Food in Sri Lankan Style. The Jungle Beach, Roomassagla Hills, Kathaluwa Temple, Galle Fort are nearby interesting places.  It is famous beach for Sea Food in Sri Lankan Style.
